Patty Cakes Puppetry wouldn’t be in business today, if not for the inspiration of “Patty Cakes”, our lead puppet.Children identify with her charm & warmth.That’s why it was very disconcerting when we realized that our 15 year old puppet was beginning to deteriorate. After many years of searching for someone who could recreate Patty Cakes, I was thrilled to find Joel Brubacher!He was the only person willing to take on the challenge of duplicating Patty.She had to be exactly the same as the original, otherwise the children who have come to know and love her would know something was amiss. Not only did Joel duplicate Patty, he made her stronger and more durable than her predecessor!We LOVE the new Patty Cakes!So much so, that I gave Joel another challenge – Gabriella.I had very specific instructions.As Gabriella is a lounge singer, it only made sense that she would have a curvaceous figure, voluptuous lips, the Marilyn Monroe trademark beauty spot, realistic hair, and many other defining qualities.Joe exceeded my expectations!
I believe Joel to be extremely brilliant, talented, creative and charming!I highly recommend him!I’ve no doubt we’ll be using his services again and again!
